Standards involved
The source says the project helps companies implement, maintain and demonstrate international quality requirements. It gives on-site training and advice so that companies can reach accredited certification. ISO 9001:2015 is the main quality management standard for this work. Food and agricultural producers often also need ISO 22000:2018.

The alliance helps African producers meet the standards that importers demand. That is how African products move from local markets to regional and international ones.

The ISO Certification Africa Project helps companies in these value chains get ready for certification. We carry out gap assessments, guide implementation of ISO 9001:2015 or ISO 22000:2018, and prepare the documentation auditors expect. Write to [email protected] to start with a readiness review.
