Our work in Uganda
The ISO Certification Uganda Project has run from Kampala since 2018. Computer Forensics Consult, its founder, is based in Kampala.
The United Nations Regional Service Centre in Entebbe was certified to ISO 9001:2015 with the support of the team.
Standards bodies
The Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) is the national standards body and the ISO member for Uganda. Certification bodies accredited by any IAF member accreditation body are recognised.
Where to start
Personal data in Uganda is governed by the Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019. ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27701 set out how such data is protected and managed.
