Seven Afreximbank entities were audited against eight ISO standards in 2026. The Africa Trade Gateway of Afreximbank is the model for this platform.
Standards bodies
Egypt's national standards body is the Egyptian Organization for Standardization and Quality (EOS). Accreditation is the role of the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC).
Where to start
Personal data in Egypt is governed by the Personal Data Protection Law, Law 151 of 2020. ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27701 set out how such data is protected and managed.
